Fernando Pensato ladies shoes started in the late 70's with Fernando Pensato Sr. He was known to be the king of cork! When he fell in love with Ulla later to be Pensato she brought in a very avant garde fashion - she was the first to make a shoe with a plexi glass heel and also the first to use mesh on shoes! Now we are in the second generation of designers their son Fernando Pensato Jr. and his wife Tiffany Pensato that did Parsons School of Design in Paris
